Students learn basic anatomy and will begin to develop an understanding of the way a figure inhabits space; thus able to successfully reproduce this space in two dimensions. The goal of the course is to learn academic, realistic representation of the figure: Emphasis will be on accurately rendering the figure on the page in proper proportion. Students work up to developing a personal style within the confines of academic figurative art.
Good shading on your face, the folds of the clothing seems stiff and the cross looks cartoonish. Don't really get a sense of who you are as an artist, looks like a pseudo celebrity photo. Try something more expressive rather than photorealistic, it might push you in ways you need to go.
I think that this piece is a nice addition to your previous pieces. You clearly have a keen ability for realism. I was intrigued by your choice to have a very distinct light source.
I like how your face is very photo-realistic. I'm not sure about the background and lighting source though. It make the piece feel like a religious image (not because of the cross but because of the lighting shining down on the face).
You have a lot of talent. Very nice. I was a bit confused when I first saw this piece. It felt like a cross between a realistic image and anime. I like it, just wasn't sure what you were going for. The light also makes it feel a bit iconic.
Very well done. It is stylistically and characteristically unique to you, I always enjoy how you have a very distinguishable style. I think that the left side of you face should have the slightest bit more shadow to really play on the light coming from the upper right. Other than that, great job.

Your technical aspects of drawing are always on point. The values look good and the whole piece looks realistic. I love the way your create the vignette especially on the lower left corner.
Very well done, not only does the viewer get to enjoy your technical skill, they also get a good idea of who you are as a person. I think you did a good job or letting the piece reflect you. I really enjoy the in-between realist and graphic style that you have going on. i think it works well, and i want to see more of it
