  1. your proportions have gotten stronger, good to see you scale up your figures. The skin tone is nicely done. could use work on your shading, use more subtle shifts in color and shading.

  2. Excellent use in the variations in skin tones and shades. The headless figure would make me wonder how the artist actually looks. The foreshortening of the arms and legs were done well.

  3. Nice composition. I really like how you did the shading on your skin. I would just suggest adding a little more light lights, so you look even more rounded in space.

  4. I know someone already commented on this, but I also think that your composition is nice. It think that one of the more interesting elements of this project was seeing how each person used the reflective surface to see themselves. That in itself says quite a bit about each of us.

  5. There is a fantastic richness to the colors you are achieving. Some of the proportions do seem a little off, mostly the shoulders seem a little broad, but I like the framing you chose for this piece.

  6. I like the subtle things like the collar bone, arms, and knees you created well with either slight curves of lines or by value. Your skin tones and shading are great, just I feel you might need some more highlights. The shoulders do look a bit broad; look at how they measure in comparison to your hips when drawing out proportions.

  7. Nice job. I like how you omitted your face, says something about you as an artist. Nice use of color and value.

  8. Great shading done with skin color. I especially love how you did your legs. I think giving that equal attention and time to your hands would help you improve. It's great that you didn't leave the background white too, overall great composition.

  9. nice use of color I think you could have done more, you are really good and I feel like you could have done your face too. but overall good job, and nice use of color.

  10. I think you did a good job technically, this piece really demonstrates your style. I love how rich your colors are. I think the only thing that throws me off is the cropping. I wish you included a bit more of your face, even just your chin and mouth and maybe your nose.

  11. The values of the skin looks great. The little pad in the middle is a tad distracting. If more attention was given to that then the piece would feel much more unified.

  12. I think this piece looks awesome, and I like how much variation of color you used in your skin tone. I like the cut off face and feet, it looks cramped, but it a good way. I like the perspective.

  13. Ashley Blanchette- This is perhaps my favorite piece of your thus far in the class. Your proportions are very well done and your use of color is also very well done. The colors pop, and the fact your did not include your head is very original and interesting. Well done!
