Water Color
Because water colors are already thin, the use of water causes them to become even thinner. There is a certain type of paper that works well for using water color paint. It is easy to wrinkle so pins and tape are great ways to keep it stretched out. Brushes like Pony hair, liner, oval wash, and mop are great for using when doing water colors. Masking can help keep control on the water colors from running. The binder used is synthetic glycol.

Acrylic
Water based binders are great on using on to help keep the pigment of the paint to together. Water can be helped to loosen the binds in the paint. Can be painted on many different types of material but gesso is the best for the surface. Not one certain type of brush needs to be used. Mixed with glaze and fluid paintings adds a variety.

Oil
binder = resins or vehicles. Oil and spirits can be used to make the oil thinner. Primed canvas are best for material. many different types of oils. China bristles are best to be used with oil. Palette knives and wax mixtures are great to be used as techniques.
