  1. I really like how you did something different with the skin tone. The purplish hue in it is really nice and the I love the curve in the lower part of her stomach under her breast.

  2. I like the overall tonal shade is working well. The violet, yellow and red and peach are working very well with each other.

  3. Great use of complements in the color palette, as well as the light versus darks in this piece. The brushstrokes are very smooth, which works with the somber feel and expression on the figure's face.

  4. I really appreciate your decision to place the figure in a completely shaded background. This allows her body to stand out. In other words, the contrast between the background and the brighter colors you used on the body is what gives the figure its roundness and fullness.

  5. By far my favorite piece. I like the cool and calming atmosphere that you have created. I liked the complimentary colors that you chose. The deep purple and the buttery yellow give off a dreamy aura. The white negative space makes it look like a dream cloud. Very well done.

  12. Really lovely colour choices here! The figure is captured very delicately here, and I think that works well with the textures you have in the background. I am especially interested in the purer forms of blue and yellow used on her skin tones, I think this piece is very well done overall.
